What It Helps
1. Loneliness

You may experience loneliness whether you are in relationship or not. Most often loneliness is a function of not knowing how to express yourself in a way that creates intimate connection.

a. Learn to Have More Intimacy

PCS will give you the tools you need to have more intimacy in your life. We teach you how to express yourself in a way that “invites” others to be responsive. You can use these tools to help you find a mate, deepen marital bonds, relate better to your family (even your parents) and improve your friendships. Without these tools, your attempts to be intimate may have left you feeling disappointed. PCS will allow you to achieve the intimacy you both desire and deserve.

b. Find a Relationship

PCS has developed a unique approach to successful dating. Our system will teach you how to be a “smart dater”. You will learn to:

  • feel your best
  • know better what you need in a relationship
  • have your “antenna” up for the kind of person most compatible for you
  • replace the irrational emotional responses that the stress of dating often evokes

PCS will help you will have greater success and more fun in the process.

c. Overcome Stress of Loneliness

The problem is that as a child you may have had to shut down because the messages you receiving made you uncomfortable or were even painful. PCS will teach you how to develop the "receptive response" as you learn to pick people who are truly capable of meeting your needs. We will help you remove any of the irrational emotional responses left over from childhood that are keeping you lonely. Our tools and practices will allow you to experience the joy that comes with receiving the caring and support that you deserve.

d. Cope with Single Stress

PCS understands that living single brings with it particular stress. No matter how competent you are, it is stressful to have to manage so many areas of your life and do so much of it alone. We are all prone under stress to have irrational emotional responses. Our system teaches you specific tools and practices to develop compassion for your situation. We offer a unique form of "emotional education" that will teach you how to handle "single stress" without hopelessness and self-blame. With our system you will feel both dignified and desirable.

Often our irrational relationship to our needs causes us to live in hiding as if we are "closet human beings". The truth is that we all more alike than we are different. We have integrated cutting edge research into our approach to working with couples. This research takes us way beyond Mars and Venus. We now know for example, that each of us has a "unique brain" style as well as unique ways of responding stress. We know that most couples truly want greater intimacy, passion and commitment. The problem is not a lack of desire but a lack of good role models that would provide the tools for achieving these goals. PCS has done just that. Current research has demonstrated that depression has several components –- physiological, emotional, and cognitive. PCS is specifically designed to work on all three levels. We will help you transform negative thought patterns; resolve left over emotional history from the past and transform frustrating and disappointing patterns. Through specific practices, you will learn to transform your emotional dyslexia and discover your positive intent. These practices will create new, effective emotional patterns and contribute to changing your brain chemistry, producing a genuine sense of well being.

d. Overcome Eating Disorders

PCS will give you a more dynamic understanding of both the biology and psychology of eating disorders. PCS will teach you how to "train your brain" to react differently to the physical and irrational emotional triggers that have caused you to binge, starve, or live a life where the obsession with food has robbed you of your ability to be truly fulfilling life. You will learn to replace thoughts, feelings and behaviors that have kept you trapped in your preoccupation with food. As a result, you will feel liberated as you learn to discover and use your deeper resources and strengths.

4. Cope with the New Reality

5. Heal Past Pain

There's no gene for self-esteem ---- We need to learn it Self-esteem develops because of the way our needs our met as children. If our needs are satisfied then we feel good and begin to develop feelings of self-esteem. Conversely, if we are overly frustrated because our needs are not met we feel badly about ourselves. .
